I don't care who you are! how many times u think you've won!(because your probably a cheat) 1 fact remains since patch:
Garuda needs nerfing ~ no not a complete 1 punch shes dead nerf, or 8 white mage holys shes dead, or a bukkake circle of black mages, just a mild nerf off the damage shes does with the big aoe's so all classes can play & actually win sometimes instead of never or nearly never.
The developers have been good to end gamers lately with AV + CC + Garuda (well i suppose any gamer), & i like how there adjusting it so the cheats get screwed, but In Garudas case there not thinking of the person who works for his money 8 hours+ a day to pay the subscription, has an hour or 3 spare some nights to kill something at least once if possible & get a reward (or in this case u need to kill her 20 times? so you'd hope to get that in a month or 2 at least!). yes we want it to be challenging but not stupidly impossible for a group to defeat (linkshell or randoms)
You can call it what u want latency, lack of experience, incompetence, user: captain brian from Durandal servers fault, fact is the developers messed up, SE messed up, & yoshi-p must have something against casual gamers because there not sorting it or thinking enough about it in the first place!
& to the Australian? Catapult i can top that im in New Zealand not only is it longer but our internet system here is crap compared to the rest of the world ~ well most of it.

Removed due to size restrictions and possible seizures risks.
blackomega's link'd gif just got me in trouble at work for laughing so hard...
The garuda fight breakdown:
phase 1-
P-Pillar
G-Garuda
T-main tank
oT-off tank
W-rest of party
phase 2-(skip it with enough dps on garuda-less then 40% health @ astral flow?).P..P..
.......oT>G<T
.P..P..
.......W(safe spot)
phase 3- this phase is all about positioning and the 2 tanks getting the adds quickly, if the adds or garuda faces the party 1 aoe stun can wipe the group.
clock/east/middle
clock-full party keeps moving around outside of circle starting east, tank is always at front, DD's aoe adds immediately
east-2 tanks backs to east wall, 1 each gets adds
middle-(same formation as east, but party stays away from outside)
T>G+Chir<party
oT>Supr
None of this info is new, if you take the time to find the threads and watch the videos this has all been stated over and over.
The party setup has some room for jobs but you need w/o question 2 tanks, 1 WHM, (5dps-at least 2 mnk's or 2 blm's for chirada)
You know what the problem is?
It takes zero skill to level 1-50
People either spam leves or get power leveled. They never get to flush out how to play their class as they level.
Bam, 50 hits and now all of a sudden you have no clue how to play your class and interact with others and not be the weak link to a 8 man party.
This is why PUG's (pick up groups) fail. You get 2 people that know what they are doing and 6 people trying it for the first time that have no idea how to properly play their class. You can't win with this setup. No matter how many times you try.
They then run to the forums to cry/qq about how hard content is, or unfair, or be forced to play x job when they have no freaking clue how to play the job/class they just got to 50 in under a week.
How about we make it hard to level to 50? Require people to learn some skill as they level up?
There is pretty much no MMO that gets this right. Levelling content, be it grinding mob camps or quest chaining simply doesn't prepare one for endgame content, because the composition for both is radically different. Levelling can be done solo or in a large group, but the latter isn't necessarily reliant on a party balance to make bars fill up. Endgame material is not only almost entirely group-based, but you enter situations that you simply don't see outside of it, such as the poison areas in Aurum Vale or monsters that prepare special AoEs under certain conditions, like the Darkhold Ogre doing Elbow Drop if he's hit in the back by melee.
Players by and large don't know how to immediately react to unknown situations in games, and it's kind of unfair to ask them of perfection on a first run. That being said, there's also a fair amount of people who don't do any kind of research into what the endgame activities are and how to complete them. I was once in an LS run of Aurum Vale where we had to PUG an 8th member who was all too happy to help us. Great DD, but he didn't know how the poison fields worked at all, and didn't speak up that he didn't know about it, either. We were fine about telling him what the deal was, but the truth is that the more proactive players, whether it be through research or disclosure, are typically the better ones.
