Dalamud's possible future size (Unedited Pics)

Today I got once again that annoying glitch in the sky and once again Dalamud appeared bigger than usual.



This might be the next stage of the red machine of Allag, maybe already “hidden” in the server, although I hope that by patch 1.23 it will also have some special effects, like a good Meteor would have.

Hello to all adventurers following the nice Seventh Umbral Era events.
This is a lore-related post that contains spoilers with the revelations of the Grand Company missions. But first, a small premise.

Some weeks ago I was having an annoying glitch in the sky of Eorzea, of which I talked in this Topic and that luckily I could fix somehow.

However, it still happens very rarely. As you all know, after patch 1.21 Dalamud's size increased even more, it's visible with daylight and it's always in the same position, on the southeast, meaning that maybe the Garlean Empire could move the Meteor Project to the next level and have the colossal machine of the Allagan Empire “lock on” Eorzea.

Well, always after patch 1.21 I ran into that glitch in the sky again, and since it was foggy (no clouds) the only thing badly rotating when I moved the camera was Dalamud... but the curious thing is that it appeared even bigger!

I briefly read that other Topic with the red Aetheryte Crystal, but that wasn't really in Eorzea yet.
So I don't know if this increase in Dalamud's size was part of the glitch or if it's something “hidden” in the server for future updates and that somehow appeared during the glitch... but I bet it won't be long before we'll really see it that huge!

Luckily the sky fixed itself after I logged out and Dalamud returned to its normal size... but since it happened, and that sky glitch gave me an hells of a week in the past, I wanted to share it.

When the Lore Section of the forum will be introduced (more info in Ferne's post), there'll be a lot to talk about. For now, I think that probably we'll see Dalamud that big in 1.22, and in 1.23, with the planned Legatus Battle content, I wonder what size it will reach...
If they'll add some small animations for its final stage, it'd be Great!

For those adventurers not following the 7th Umbral Era events, the first hint about Dalamud's changes was given during the “Moonstruck” sidequest in Wineport.

I was thinking about the size of Dalmund this morning. What I'd like to see is whatever area the object is centered on hitting, becoming darker as it gets closer, where its really blacking out the sun overhead.

And for our Van battle, having it set on a stage with Dalmund directly overhead, taking up a majority of the backdrop could be pretty intense. Set the mood for a truly doomsday battle with the Raven.

I've seen Dalamud that big before as well. I hope it gets this big normally with 1.23, so that way the sky glitch makes it EVEN BIGGER!
