I wonder....

If it takes 25,000 seals to get a GC item, which can then be used to get another item, which will then be used towards an AF weapon.... is this.. not what people wanted?

There were some suggestions that the drop rate of DL gear was too low, and doing 100 runs with nothing was disheartening. Suggestions included an incremental progress towards a goal, so they would know they would eventually get something and roughly when.

By using GC Seals as the means of incremental progress towards the AF Weapon, is that not in fact the community being given what they asked? Would they prefer to go back to a 0.01% random chance of a drop of the AF Weapon where they could get it the first time, or not after 1000 runs?

I admit that 25,000 seals is not trivial to get, but also find it an amiable solution for those who want consistent progression versus pure randomness of the chest gods.
