It's also possible it's just placeholder till they have 1.22b stuff ready. They did this heavily in FFXI and when the actual quest was implemented things changed.

Except for people are able to buy/have purchased the item. So in that case, if they were going to lower the price, they would also have implement a seal refund mechanic, which facing that they probably wouldn't have made it purchasable in the first place.
So I'm pretty sure the price will remain the same.
I'm all for people throwing buzz words around without knowing the meaning and all but lets learn not to be babies and understand that in business somethings get delayed. Come back and cry once its 1.23 and you have no AF weapons kthxbai.

Now go kill beastman NM in hamlet, or in those strongholds and maybe they drop items you can only buy from Hamlet NPC
(guessing) lol

I'm pretty much 100% sure each upgraded AF weapon will be obtained via this particular means :\

Are the actual seals dropping from hamlet if anyone knows?

I'm pretty sure that the Key Item will remain for use on all AF weapons.

Kind of curious though, if the Note from Rowena was all you needed to get the AF weapons and all the items needed to upgrade the items are in the game, why would they delay it? I mean clearly all of the pieces are in place and if it was as simple as just getting the note from Rowena for each AF weapon, I don't see why they would have to delay it. There has to be some further quests or something that would actually justify the delay.
Merely speculation here but that alone has me thinking that there's more to it than just this. Someone said earlier though that you can buy more than one of the key item "On the Properties of Beastmen". Can anyone confirm this? If you can buy multiples, especially at the same time, then you may very well need one for every AF weapon.

my guess its useless till 2.0 lol.

If it really is the beginnings of the job-specific weapons then it's likely Gerolt will tell us to go collect some items for him to make the weapon. Which was probably the cause of the delay.Kind of curious though, if the Note from Rowena was all you needed to get the AF weapons and all the items needed to upgrade the items are in the game, why would they delay it?
