Nobody does this regardless of plugin use or not. Most people don't look twice at someone having a certain glam or title, at most they'll inspect to see what item it is and go on about their day. Having a rare title or glam is not the prestige some people wish it is.

Alright, so I have a big suggestion, how about we just stop lying? because that was not what was said here, this was said in response to a specific point listed in the OP of the thread, which I will quote to be very precise:

I want to be able to interact with others without fear of punishment.

To which it was pointed out you already can, you just need to watch your language, don't insult anyone, and no "I meant it as a joke" isn't an excuse, and avoid swearing if you can, this is FFXIV, not Hazbin Hotel, that's all you need to do, and you can interact with anyone and everyone with zero fear.

I mean, plugin scandals aside, I look at the titles and think "Ah, thanks for letting me know to avoid you". I've never met an Ultimate raider that wasn't high on their own flatus. The lot of them have some... strong opinions, we'll say, on the rest of the player-base.

That said, it was pretty vindicating watching some of them suddenly and mysteriously change their character names right after that list of people who bought clears came out.

I complained about the disrespectful people and they reported me because im tired of the attempt of sexual abuse and gesture in dungeon, i had to report another idiot today. That only proves about my pointing out is real. It's annoying these people and their toxic culture that think they would get away with what they did. There's thoses peeps that need to chill honestly about their nasty behaviors, then they play the victims, it seems ToS isn't strict enough after all. Your post about integrity isn't for nothing.

Restore Integrity

This is not “how it’s always been” and it’s not “just how MMOs are”.

I don’t want to hear any more excuses on behalf of the billion-dollar company.

I want the game to be designed better, I want anti-cheat implemented, I want cheaters banned and botting exterminated, I want meaningful moderation. I want our level of skill to be rewarded and for our achievements to mean something. I want to be able to interact with others without fear of punishment. I want this MMO to actually be an MMO, and I want this game that I love to do and be better.

Depends what you means by "integrity" there's no as such legitimate ff14 players, if you fret to be banned by interacting there's a problem because when you just talk normaly, respectfuly a minimum why would there be a risk of ban, or is it a case of arguing ? I don't think the majority that are gone to the toxic or *cough* jail were victim , no. I don't report unless it's disrespectful or immorality acts/stalking which shouldn't happen btw!

That's the only point i see the contradiction about what you said the moderation point, i still think if there's a reasonable post that state how anormal the game have become, it might be heard however i have seen a lot playing the victims also calling themelves reasonable person when they aren't here.

The issue about this game isn't just the cheats and automaton things, just that i precise. If the game should have integrity "restored" it would have to be socialy wise too, not just restriction of cheats. To hope the normaliizing of disrespectful manners and toxicity be put to an end finaly. That's all i will say!

I'm not surprised people are divided more than before, we have the rights to say no to disrespectful acts you know. I'm always in my corner alone most of the time, that's normal i report if someone annoys me because that's amusing apparently to them but then when it happens to them they cry...unlogical. I don't pay my sub on ff14 to be bothered by idiots either. Leave me alone basicaly.

How is this even a controversial position to have?

Asking for anti cheat already turns me away. If I'd have to choose between all the things that you've listed and intrusive annoying software, I'd rather have all the things that you've listed.

That aside, achievements are fine and my thoughts on them, which aren't many, wouldn't change by any amount no matter what happened to the game. Other people using mods doesn't bother me. I haven't had any issues with GMs which I have barely had the need to interact with. If you have issues with the game I understand because so do I, though we don't agree on what is most important.
