Even Davinci invented better paintbrushes and the likes to make things go easier and easier to handle things, so did any great artist. inventor or art performer in history.

Art comes from within, not from without. Sorry, I gotta be purist on this. I HAVE to stand on it. I think the art is in the method not so much the result.

Im not saying having a tool is wrong, but it WILL devalue those who worked the system already.

And I find, some sick twisted joy watching someone make a room that forces them to give it all the neurons they've got. Its something honest and enjoyable. Its an mindset that you carry with you. Problem solving skills and a creativity they themselves never knew they possessed. "No" isn't a absolute, its a suggestion.

Not really devalued, besides the system has been broken since housing became a thing, so there you have it.

Actually it was never broken, a player figured out you could unintentionally glitch things up, and it and players took that unintended aspect and went wild with it.

You've innately devalue it by removing the effort required to make something equivalent. You don't get the "Wow, how did they do this!? "How do you make a small feel so large"" moment.

You get the "eh nice" I'll design something like this later.." Because the process was removed. And that's what set those who just want to throw something together. And those who are willing to see that vision through, despite what the game tells them.

Art/Creativity doesn't ask to be "allowed" be be expressed. It just is.
