Current LD is better then the older version. Before the healing it was up to your healer to bring you to 100% hp once it procced otherwise its you are dead. Current one makes it so you can heal back to full and release it form the healer wasitng resources

If you're getting healed through it, is there a problem? The healer was about to output enough to heal you, so maybe LD wasn't needed at all? That feels like the norm for most dungeons. If I see a DRK go into LD I'll try to let them use it but the truth is whether it gets used or not isn't a big deal in dungeons.

If you know that your healer is eager to throw everything at you then you can wait them out. Let them use all their heals, keep track of what has been used, and then use LD.

You shouldn't. Invulns are just another cooldown. I try to use them as much as possible, or at least I did before tanks became so strong that using anything other than their short mitigations became optional.

It's a simple difference in mindset, I consider invulns to be a last resort - Hence a failure condition for my play, however I'm used to tanks using them first which is somewhat amusing as a WHM main since people invuln in my holy stun window. You can bet I'm not dropping my dps for your invuln.

Any WHM that focuses on being green DPS for the first few GCD's is a blessing. I try to wait for stun resist to kick in before I use my own mitigation though some WHM's are so inconsistent. If I hold back, they start casting Cure II, if I invuln, they start casting Holy. It can be the most complicated part of dungeon CD rotations.

i found the best way as the tank make a macro or say after 2nd boss "last pull ill use invul or something"

I'd rather just have a self-kill (reduce self to 1 HP) button available after activating Walking Dead that then restores that health thereby wasted over the next 3 server ticks (i.e., up to 9 seconds).

Or rather, tbh, I'd kinda prefer Living Dead and Holmgang just allow your HP to go negative (or, for would-be fatal damage just to add equal healing-nullification) without you dying (with DRK maybe having the further advantage of a passive that increases self-healing done for each %hp missing with further effect from going negative / having healing --in terms of %hp-- blocked), but that'd require a compensatory nerf to all invulns in turn. /shrug
