Ah I see, so my assumption was 100% correct.

I do sometimes wonder what kind of toxicity hides behind that ignored user post message.

No.\nIt does suck that the house was demod because their tenant was actively using it. However , I do agree with the primary owner of the plot needing to utilize it to keep it. If I've seen the demo timer before shut down I would have tore down everything.I could out of the plot as a "just in case" move

Sadly that's true so I will continue to vouch for everyone having a home, just plop a plot on your Island Sanctuary and the ward housing could keep the current system where if you fail to log in in a timely manor, your plot is demolished and gets put on your Island Sanctuary. If they made it where if you own a home in a ward, you can't have one on your Island Sanctuary to keep it more balanced and also as a means to move your home in the cases of auto demolition so the plot is always there and you don't lose any furnishings.

When I upgraded my FC house to a med way back before housing lottery was a thing, I was decorating my new abode when someone zoned in. Apparently the house I was putting together was theirs and he told me that his gf got mad at them so she logged onto his account and demo'd the house as well as doing some other things like wasting his gil and dropping various items. I have never felt so bad for someone but I also was not about to lose 20m gil so he could have it back. We did have a chat though and he was well aware of not only this but other big, bright, red flags she was waving, so I hope he dumped her as hard and quick as he said he was going to.
So, always good to make sure no one demo'd it as a way to get back at you.
Thats....pretty fair. You're not so much losing your plot as you're losing visibility. But what size plot should players get? Because there should to be an incentive in the wards where they do have a demolition timer. Because one group is going to still be giving them revenue indirectly to keep their plots and another group isn't. And you can't really give them 1:1. Something.\nYou can be satisfied with , "but there's still always needs to be something gives you that I want more" feelingSadly that's true so I will continue to vouch for everyone having a home, just plop a plot on your Island Sanctuary and the ward housing could keep the current system where if you fail to log in in a timely manor, your plot is demolished and gets put on your Island Sanctuary. Allow each "structure" on a island sanctuary to be converted to a small house - in the same spots as the current structures and allow people to invite people to their "ward". This means you could swap a few outdated workshops to smalls and still keep your windmill or what not - giving people a sandbox to play in that already has the resources earmarked for it; the only trick would be linking the character data together.
So like I have a island...I turn a workshop into my "house"; you say "Hey friend can I join you" I say sure and give you access and the ability to convert another structure to a "house" - now as long as either of us visits every 45 days the neighborhood persists. That allows small groups of people to make their own little cities
The result would be a mini-housing district - following the same requirements as regular housing - if none of the island residents visit in 45 days - poof all gone.
