its not cope if you still enjoy the game. Despite the sheer volume of toxicity that came into this game with Dawntrail i enjoyed the expansion, even if i wasn't thrilled with the writing. The raids have been a lot of fun, the music has been top tier, and the zones themselves are beautiful.

Criticism is toxicity?

Not per-se, but to act like constructive criticism is all that is happening in these forums is incredibly disingenuous, a good example of outright toxicity is a recent threat where someone was asking for advice on how to approach helping a newbie, and while many where helpful, they also got this response, this isn't criticism, this is being a total ass, this is being so caught on your negative opinion of something that you are going out of your way to try to prevent others from having positive experiences with it. to the point of going against what is being asked, and interactions like that, to variable degrees of severity, are common in these forums, they do not invalidate real criticism or feedback, but they still paint a rather grim image of the demeanor found here.
