I've never expected things to get better. But not quitting bc i have mansion and dont feel like losing it yet.

Cause there is no other MMO for me. WoW doesnt tickle me at all. I'm waiting for Chrono Odyssey knowing it will be a full P2W Korean MMO, but I dont think it can replace FFXIV longterm. There is just no modern MMORPG with good graphics and enjoyable combat system on a paid subscription. I've tried GW2 and ESO, but it just didnt work for me. Well, maybe someday right?

I have a tiny spark of hope that the game can move towards some innovation away from the "sacred circle" of how the things have been each time , each patch last 10+ years.

I hope that the game could become more social due to less splitting content between players and they will finally quit this approach like a XIV is supposed to be some life-achievment.

Where a lot of activities ask you to grind,grind and grind almost endlessly instead of letting people improve on their skills and just enjoy a nice balanced game for casuals and medcore players.

I'm still subbed, but at this point I am basically only playing once or twice a week when asked. - I've not even done the relics for crafters nor gatherers, that I have that little care these days.

I would not be surprised if I do actually let the sub go before 2026 (so before 8.0).

In a lot of cases though it'll be the same perpetual fickleness, I mean, we were all sat around here slurping up around how good dungeons are now (forgetting the fact that this is how it pretty much always is on launches), and about how it's going to be one of the best expansions content-wise (even I probably said this), to it now being the worst (and in some cases over completely inane things)... By the time 7.55 comes around, will be completely rabid, then we'll have lots of cute little promises that won't come into fruition, and then we'll be back to cheering on the same slop.

I'm not even bothered about presenting feedback anymore, it's like having a debate with a brick wall.

Ninja will get a third charge of Shukuchi, Shukuchi will give enhanced throwing knives after using it, Aeolian edge will upgrade into a new skill that has 100 more potency and lastly Kunai's bane will become another finisher with 800 potency aoe after using it that you have to weave into your burst window since it refreshes Kassatsu. Please look forward to it.
