I've just been trying. It's just ungodly boring. I can manage maybe an hour every couple of days. I'm only rank 13 in there, but it's just some of the worst content this game has for me as a player. At this point if you truly had been going into OC somewhat regularly and still only have 6 you are so statistically unlucky as to be functionally irrelevant to the balancing conversation. The rate is 20%/5%. The amount of people doing thousands of fates and grinding endlessly and getting nothing is so small that o don’t know we it keeps getting fixated on
If you are rank 13 you’ve done like 20 CE’s total. You are fine to not like OC but you haven’t even scratched the surface of the grind. Like you are probably above average on drop rate if you have six by knowledge level 13
As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess
Oh, I have no idea. I've just been doing FATEs when I could and CEs. I just don't find any of this fun so it's hard to sit down and get it done. I'm honestly going to give up on this relic. It's just not been remotely fun doing.
I tried again and I want to die. Please let me do something else. This is not fun. Fates aren't fun. CEs aren't fun. The Endwalker relic was better. I'm sorry, but that's my feeling.

Started my Demiatma grind earlier.
I've been stuck in Yak T'el for ages now. Even reached Rank 4 zone rank not that long ago, and sitting at comfy 0 out of 3 gemstones.
Meanwhile the healer who followed me to said zone got all 3 Demiatma during the first evening, leaving me all alone there.![]()
Basically finished the relic step in 3 days doing OC. I was missing 1 Demiatma and went to Kozama'uka. After all the horror storys here, I was ready to grind 50+ fates. It dropped after 3 fates and I was done with the first relic step. Pretty easy grind.
That's the true marvel of the system right? Not only it does make it feel outright unfair when you draw the short stick, but it also prevents you to keep playing with your friends when they're done before you.Started my Demiatma grind earlier.

Secretly had a crush on Mao
If they were your friends they would be helping you finish faster.
How would they make it faster exactly? Your post doesn't make any sense to me.
Or are you saying they should suffer more just to prove that they're very supportive or something? That sounds somewhat entitled if that's a thing you'd expect friends to do for you.

It's not fun at all. I'd rather have some long ass chain-quest or anything to get these things because this just doesn't feel fun. Who the hell wants to do fates whole day? This is incredibly boring and tedious.
in OC you must wait for critical encounters which is already snoring fest. Then come to them and then "oh I didn't get one snap...". Doing regular fates is more impossible since everyone has faster mount than you as a new starter and then you fail to come in time as fates die in seconds.
Doing outside in dawntrail zones? Sure but drop rates are even worse it seems. Let's not mention that a lot of mentors now are farming this with bot programs so they can afk and do something else for the day. This just shows how this content is so engaging and lovely.
