probably a hot take but i wanna have more 'friction' back.
i enjoyed dragoon way more when i hade to think about more of the little stuff

more positional (and also having to hit the last positional to uograde the first skill in your next combo)
    gap closer with dmg
    jumps with animation lock

and a lot of off globals

Funny, you say that while DRG is probably one of the most complex and hardest to hyper-optimize. HERE enjoy!

I wouldn't mind more animation lock mechanics if they also come with I-frames; otherwise, no thanks.

i mean im far from the top players. i dont care if i have a purple, blue or green parse. i think blue is nice, but thats it. im not looking to hyper-optimize a job.

i just wanna have fun with it. and some level of feelable friction is needed for that, while at the same time maintaining a fluid gameplay. something that should more or less feel different for each job.

without fun jobs none of the content is fun
