Honestly, they don’t care—it’s just a tool to support their own narratives.

I didn’t expect much, because they’re not the first, and they won’t be the last, until they get what they want.
What surprised me is this “all or nothing” attitude—they’d rather sit on nothing than accept a compromise.
Also, when they start labeling anyone who disagrees as “white knights” or “defenders,” that’s a clear sign
They know they’re losing the argument and are resorting to cheap labels as a last-ditch effort.

Except I literally am a Computer Sec/Network admin (CCNA, MCSA, SEC+, NET+, A+) and have a degree in business, I just know how to not fuck the customer over just to line my pockets. Money for development is there, THEY HAVE THE MONEY TO DEVELOP AND UPDATE THIS STUFF. But Corpo greed keeps majority of that profits in the pockets of the CEO's and upper echelon

You keep trying to reframe this discussion as ignorance versus enlightenment, but that's just deflection. I understand how corporations work. I understand the development history of MMOs. And I understand that *apartments and FC rooms are not equivalent to personal housing*, not in customization, not in prestige, and certainly not in player satisfaction.

Calling this an "all or nothing" attitude is reductive. It's not about refusing compromise, it's about refusing *false equivalence*. Apartments and FC rooms are limited, instanced, and lack the outdoor space and creative freedom that many players are specifically saving for. Suggesting they're a valid substitute for personal housing is like telling someone who wants to build a house to be happy renting a closet.

And let's talk about compromise: players *have* compromised. They've bid on smalls they didn't want. They've waited through dozens of failed lotteries. They've accepted instanced islands that don't allow housing. The frustration isn't from entitlement, it's from exhaustion.

As for the "white knight" label, I haven't used it. But if defending a flawed system while dismissing the lived experiences of frustrated players fits that description, then maybe the label isn't so far off.

You're not wrong for being satisfied with your own housing situation. But you are wrong to assume that satisfaction should be universal. The system doesn't work for everyone, and pretending it does only delays the improvements that would benefit the entire community.

The goal isn't to win an argument. It's to fix a system that's failing the very players who keep this game alive.
