False. We got it in my group. Monk snatched the hands to check. It does indeed apply spell speed the stat. Not a typo
They seem to be struggling to reconcile the power of the WOL with how the fact that if the WOL used half their power most conflicts would end before the story actually did anything and I think they are struggling to properly integrate that into the engine
This is one of the few things base DT actually did really well. Everyone knew that wuk Lamat wasn’t a direct threat, the true threat was the walking tactical nuke sitting behind her. Bakool ja ja, galool ja ja, sareel ja and calyx all immediately pointed out the WOL as the true threat (or guide in galool ja ja’s case)
I don’t think nerfing the WOL midgardsommr style is good because people didn’t like the WOL being sidelined, but maybe more active cutscene use to show that the WOL isn’t as invincible as they feel when they spend half the patch aura farming
As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess
