They can fit if you cast "float" on them!!!! then they can hover above the crowd serenading them with "One Winged Angel"

Sorry to burst your bubble, but it will be. The new "trailer" is the new opening cinematic for FFXIV 2.0. Considering the current opening cinematic is also CGI...

Any source for that? All I've seen them say is "2.0 trailer" not "2.0 Opening Cinematic."

E3 is their moment to have the world's attention to prove 2.0 will have turned XIV around. A CGI-only trailer will be met with a resounding "so what?"

They will probably do the following:

1) Tell the Crowd they are deeply sorry for How FFXIV came out
2) Show all In-Game Improvements Currently in the game now
3) Show CGI Trailer ( with possible In-Game Battles)

It's always when people ask for a source when you can't find the info <.<; I promise I saw it referred to as opening cinematic somewhere though!

Also I agree, E3 is the time to bring in the big guns, which is why they're launching the new 2.0 promo site which will have the game play videos people will want to see.

Man, I love E3. Sometimes I think I like reading news about games more than playing them. ...which is weird, I know. Don't judge me.

Anyway, I'll watch the Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo press conferences live if at all possible. But nothing excites me more than 2.0. I really can't wait to see screenshots of the new world. To me, the world is the possibly the most important part of an MMO. I really love the changes Yoshida has brought to XIV, but the world is still depressing--I don't feel like there's any sense of place. The 2.0 PDFs seemed awesome, though. I can't wait to run around in the new environments! Especially the new Black Shroud

That's true. You know, though, I keep telling myself that I'm going to play all of the really good-looking games, but in reality I usually only get around to trying out a few.

...You know, maybe I should stop this line of thought right now. I think I prefer living in my own fantasy land.

Yep, I'm totally going to have the time and money to play all the games I want to play.

I'm the same way. I find an article, whether rumor or confirmed, about a game I can't wait for and read it about a hundred times until it's burned into my eyes.
