I agree with the mean-spirited nature. Getting slapped with a level down, as easy as it is to get back up to 20, is just that little cherry on top of the downtrodden feeling of a wipe.
This is why I’d never want to play Phantom Bard in FT, the pressure on them to stun their six Idols with the proper timing is immense and if you stun any of them too early they will just instantly cast Ancient Aero III after the stun runs out and promptly end you, you even see craziness where it’s not the P Bard’s fault where the Idols won’t all be pulled at the same time so their casts are staggered making the timing of Romeo’s Ballad even more awkward (potentially unwinnable if the first Idols to cast finish before the last ones to cast start) or the other side pulls too early and then their P Bard Romeo’s and stuns your Idols too early basically dooming you at that point…

Honestly if the Idols just did massive raidwide damage if you failed a stun it would be fairer, they are single-handedly the worst aspect of FT, Boss 2 Fire Towers can be cruel but these guys are just merciless, one mistake and they pack you up and boot you out to OC…
