The 7.2 MSQ was ok, but after the abuse that was 7.0 and 7.1, it felt great.

This will unironically be one of the biggest things going in SEs favor... that will be so used to being fed subpar content, that when they -- on the occasion -- elect to give something even remotely acceptable, that it feels great and amazing.

... Even when you know it shouldn't.

Seeing as 7.0 (and it's subsequent patches) have legitimately set up NOTHING in terms of the foundation for the next saga (unlike ARR which set the foundation), I have zero expectations. What I do fear, with the key macguffin, is that rather then explore more of Eorzea we haven't seen in future patches, we are bout to head into ShB 2, 3 and 4 with each expansion taking us to a new shard.

Your point is, quite frankly, a bad one. It implies that the opinion everyone who has tried the content, found it lacking, and went to give feedback in the channel that is used for feedback is invalid

It doesn't imply that. Rather, I can't measure people who are not actively playing.

My post was adding to points I made earlier in the thread, where I said that a large percentage of those unhappy actually unsubscribed already or don't engage with the content, and as a result of that, the remaining people seemed quite happy. Since people did not believe me, I pasted one of the many chats I have in the game that demonstrated that people are pretty resistant to doomposting and the type of comments on the forums and even ridicule it.

Just because the people that remain in the content are the ones enjoying it does not mean that the views of those who gave up on it are invalid.

I did not say their views are invalid. I was simply saying that the majority of them do not seem to actually be in the new content, be it OC, Savage or Extremes, otherwise they'd all be as negative as on the forums in my interactions with them.

I think it's kind of funny and pathetic that they dedicated EW, Pandaemonium, and Myths of the Realm to fully closing the book on Amaurot's legacy, but the only potential thread from 7.X to future expansions thus far is the Azem key.

Would wait until 7.5 actually... If they go with their modus operandi, we won't get a clear hint until the last moment.

To show that most players I interact with in the game aren't negative, we got a giant conversation going in Occult (names redacted). 14 out of 16 seemed happy with how things are (11 didn't participate):

People shouldn't be ridiculed when giving feedback regardless of if it's positive or negative. Feedback of any type is how a product improves people shouldn't have to shut up and blindly take whatever content is giving because people don't like seeing any type of feedback that is perceived as "too negative" or "too positive". And people shouldn't be ostracized or ganged up on to the point of making someone leave an instance because they don't like someone leaving negative feedback.

They are pushing a very very vanilla world right now. Everyones in peace, and everyone will drop everything they got to help our heroes in need at any point for the memberberries. The world might not have nation or politics at all.
Vrtra formed an alliance over a discord call in 5 minutes with a nation he knows nothing about. GRAND STRATEGY.

I still hold to this day, that Endwalker destroyed worldbuilding in this game. They are doing their best to leave any old inkling of the old power structure behind, and focus on spaceships and shizz.
