This is cosplay glamour, based off of a FF5 character, so there was never a world where it would have been unisex. This means the gender locking didn't give you the tights, but it did take them away from other players who wanted them.
Truth be told, I don't even know how to report posts on the forum.
Though I wouldn't be surprised if its as obtuse and unwieldy as reporting players in-game.

Nah, I don't personally think bigots should be allowed to have opinions or "vote", especially when it impacts other people negatively. If they're going to act like crap, they ought to be flushed, not allowed to bob around stinking the place up.Not how a democracy works. And honestly a very ridiculous thing to say because in that case that goes both ways for the people of the opposite opinion. But go you, how stunning and brave ! Surely showing off how extreme you are on that topic is a great look.Nah, I don't personally think bigots should be allowed to have opinions or "vote", especially when it impacts other people negatively. If disagreement and discussion were really so bad, then there probably shouldn't be forums in the first place. If you bring political reasoning to the table, you invite comment on it-- whether that's against tos or not should be left to the mods, since more meta-conversation only derails the thread further.
If you want people with a different fashion opinion than yours to be silenced - this would be an unreasonable aversion and bigotry. Going by what you desire in your comment - it would be goodbye to your freedom of opinion and voting.
(A truly awful and authoritarian desire).
Politics on a gaming forum, this is tiring.
Everyone is screaming and frothing at apparitions that do not exist, the thin slice of external reality and large cast shadow propaganda pushed by social media algorithms & their preferred news media outlet that they consume, are by default impossible to interpret with anything remotely equivalent to reality. And yet are further misinterpreted during the data correlation and seeking phase as they are often skipped entirely in people's eagerness to apply an emotion and reaction. An eagerness to confirm bias and for narcissism to be perceived as correct by those around them.
"My misinterpreted reality is more correct than yours"
Lets leave out politics. And just have gear unlocked so people can do what they want in the game. End of.
Good thing that's not what we're asking for. We just want to be able to wear both. Nothing else, just piece of clothing.
If democracy leads to oppression and bigotry, dictates who I love and how I live in a way that effects me and people I care about, I will oppose Democracy.
Basic human rights need to be protected at all cost and should not be used as things to be voted on or debated on, It's extreme to think we can just vote away human rights in my opinion.
That's really not my problem. I'm not here to play someone personalize ff14 game. Gender locked is nice for fashion reasons. Yet making tons of gender neutral gear leaves boring ideas. My personal take keep gender locked or make a button to toggle fashion between male female.
You open the door theres nothing in sight. You close the door wondering whats in sight. But lets be honest its probably gonna just let you down.

I came here to the Forums because I wanted to suggest the same thing. Some outfits came with a second gear swatch that was simply looking different (like the new bouncers gear). It would not be a problem to give an outfit two options, in this case one option being the pants and one the straps. It doesn't need to be one or the other, it can be both. Like having two cakes!
So Players themselves can decide which one they want to have. I have friends that play female characters that would love to have the male version sometimes, so it's not only a male PC problem.
Plus, I assumed that the whole graphic update was part to make things like this more viable/easier to code. I hope that it's true, and we might see with options added in the future.
((It would also make more money if both genders can have both outfits))
