Demiatma drop rates are unacceptable

It was meant for people who want a grind, and honestly, I haven't found the relic grind to be much so far even, since it's just a one-time grind unlike the old Atma grind from ARR. I will almost certainly be done by the time my phantom jobs, knowledge level, gear and coin grinds are done, and the atma will just be passively gained by doing that, at the current rate.

I've played all week since it dropped, I have got no atma so far.

I have no complaints about the content, it provides me with what I want, when I get the drops, I get them.
It's not a big deal, this is content that's supposed to last.

I don't mind a grind. What I do mind is the fact that they've made the drops so preposterously rare that I can spend somewhere around seven hours playing this content and not see even ONE Atma drop.

The OP hit the nail on it's head - "I don't expect everything to be "handed" to me, but I want my time to be valued". And as it stands they've made me completely adverse to the idea of 'setting foot' in OC again.

You all do realise you only need 3 of each. Not 3 of each per weapon. There is no rush, just level your jobs and you will get them without even looking for them. The weapon is of no use anyway as it's only 245. There is nothing you need the relic for. Just have fun and enjoy the game instead of always asking for handouts.

Drop rates are fine. I got over 7 of each just levelling to 20 and my jobs.

Today, I got in a party with someone that got its first one after reaching lvl 20. That's it with rng farm, everyone get it different. Very different sometimes. You seem to have been very lucky. But generalizing from your experience is a bad idea.

Whether or not the step is fast or slow, it's clear that people do not enjoy the RNG element. People don't like having bad luck and they would rather do x content x amount of times and be guaranteed the things they need to progress, even if it is grindy, instead of leaving it up to chance and luck.

After the Atma step you do get measurable guaranteed progress to your next weapon.
You can get X of 1500 tomestones from doing stuff they do normally or inside OC.

This, really. If people are upset 4 days into the content that it's not done, I don't know what to say.

Most people in the zone think it's not that bad at all once they learn its a 1 time grind then back to tomestones for now.
