I’m just confused about your perception of safety

Let’s ignore the plugin directly for the moment

Are you saying you are willing to give your account data to the client of your stalker in exchange for the (unmodded) client to not have you show up on their client?

Because I’m trying to explain that your suggestions aren’t bad, they just simply won’t actually achieve anything while sensitive data is being sent to the stalkers client, it’s the equivalent of putting your hands in front of your eyes and going “I cant see you so you so you aren’t there” .

If you are willing to make that trade do you think others are willing to make that trade? For example I’d sacrifice all your suggestions to get my account data off my stalkers client.

This has to be the first, second third and last thing, is pressuring square to actually fix this gaping hole in account security. After they have fixed that then we can discuss making the blacklist more broadly useful in functionality because I don’t know any other way to say your suggestions are useless without it, because if someone wants to stalk you then editing the current blacklist design won’t help when it’s built on this gaping flaw. If someone is already willing to stalk you why would you think that they would stop at the boundaries of the vanilla client
