MCH locked out of PF

Nice try but I have crafted boots and all my slots are 740/750.

Either way, I didn't bother spending more of my hard earned gil on melding after seeing the tragic state of FF14 community in 2025. Gatekeeping is now worse than WoW officially.

IDK man .. I see 2 pieces that are not ilvl740+. 690 Boots and 730 Ring
Maybe you got everything at 740 now but at the time you opened this thread you 100% didnt.

If you cant even effort the bare minimum of melding the guaranteed slots on a job that brings nothing to the table except his personal damage then you shouldnt join PF and waste 7 other ppls time anyway.

They 100% don't have any melds in even with "updated" gear, and the build they have it's def not the BiS recommended for week 1.

They need to kill/farm Zelenia first..lol.

They probably did less dmg than a healer, got booted out and now crying in forums..epic..

This was never about melds though? stop moving the goalposts. U went from ilvl to melds but people who make the PF cant lock out based on melds.

They can based on ilvl/class, though. Ur "gotcha" is weak.

I never argued about melds not doing a difference? You must be ESL or something considering your reading comprehension is quite lacking. I simply pointed out that whether or not I have melds do not have anything to do with being locked out of PF because there is no setting to lock someone out based on their melds. U can, however, lock them out based on their item level or their class. Being kicked out is a completely different matter.

I was simply responding to the part where you were trying to say the page was not updated, which was a blatant lie.

Not only you avoided providing any actual screenshots of those supposedly common occurrences where PF locks MCH out, but you also tried to blame it on the system for not showing your actual gear. just gfto.. ty

Well they can't necessarily lock out on melds but I would 100% boot someone from my party if we were playing week 1 and they didn't have any materia attached. That's just the bare minimum if you want to join week 1 groups and clear, your damage and even ability to survive tanks without it. If you're not using materia then logically I would have to assume you're not using food or potting, which is a huge detriment to any group gunning for the clear. The other DPS would need to play even higher than what was expected of them to substitute for your damage and fights like M6 will be impossible if you have a weak link, doesn't matter good you are mechanically, if the adds aren't dying you will be stuck there.
