I am not defending the changes, but... from a developer perspective it makes sense to nerf that one job that's a bit of an anomaly vs finding ways to buff all the others without adding to the lingering imbalance.

I absolutely agree that it is better to nerf the single outlier instead of bloating every other job's damage, but that's not what people are complaining about.

Because they didn't just nerf picto's damage to be more in line with other jobs but changed fundamentally how it's played, the nerfs they did were either never tested or they have no clue what they're doing.

It's probably both because you can't convince me that they intended to make the hammer absolutely useless.
