Bring Quality Notorious Monsters to FFXIV!

What is it with people in this game wanting anything that adds variety or, -gasp- a degree of unpredictability to the game to be removed?
Curious mobs follow you around... "No good! Remove it!". "Okay, how about they just change it to where they only follow you for a bit and then go away, or run away at the first sign of aggression". "NO! No good! Leave it out!"
Different mobs show up at night, making the landscape a bit more dangerous and requiring people to keep their eyes open a bit more.. "No good! Remove it!"
Good grief.
i had made a suggestion before for the "curious mobs to scatter when you draw your weapon. They removed them cause you could only xp on one mob at a time and people would be doing leves and goats would come up and get hit by aoe and people complained. What is it with people in this game wanting anything that adds variety or, -gasp- a degree of unpredictability to the game to be removed?

Yeah, I know several people had made that suggestion. And it makes perfect sense.
For some reason, some people seem to want the game world to be as lifeless, dry and boring as possible. Anything that requires any more of their attention or caution is automatically a negative. I guess some people really do just want to zombie-mode grind their way through the game, with nothing to break them from their reverie.
Then we see the complaints of the world being too bland and the game being too uninteresting. You just can't win with some people.
the EU version had english and japanese voices in the options ....Is it good in English....? I wanted to play the JP one and bought one from Ebay for 20 bucks since it had the JP Xenoblade cover and asshole sent me english version.... I normally can't stand English voicing on JP Anime so didn't even bother playing and it's inside my desk @ work catching dust... lol
Because it's not standard in MMOs and it shouldn't have been in FFXIV. Remember, FFXIV has to be a bland boring same ole same ole MMO that's always being released, they can't do something new. Give it time, people will complain about the fact they let us sleep in a bed. "It adds nothing to gameplay or furthers my end-game career remove it SE!"What is it with people in this game wanting anything that adds variety or, -gasp- a degree of unpredictability to the game to be removed?

yeah totally, XI had skelletons and such that popped at night time and made you thread more carefullyIf this happens Im sure it will be in 2.0 and hopefully they are already working on something like this. Also Im pretty sure there was a similar thread to this one a long time ago, but ti cant remember.
At night I would love to see some fog with random enemy encounters like old school rpgs. It used to be you walked for a couple seconds then bang, fight scene. I would love to just be walking and have wights/skeletons crawl up from underground and attack you at night, add some fog and eerie music too.
I remember when i first started playing ff14 and it started getting dark and i was like "oh, i wonder whats gonna happen" haha, yea, nothing happened.
