    The OP didn't ask to be ridiculed either.

    As I mentioned, I found this to be one of the easier DT dungeons, but the fact it happened to click with my limited abilities doesn't mean it'll do so for others.

    And the player base is full of clickers. I have to use a hybrid system because I can't touch-type more than 15 keybinds.

    Nobody starts playing FFXIV because they heard the combat systems are good. They are not. I'm sure it pleases the director that a minority of players enjoy the same kind of difficult PvE as him, and maybe the emphasis on such content explains why the story has nose-dived.

    I understand it must be frustrating for those who like hard content that a small fraction of that content (MSQ battles) is too easy for them. But you don't rectify that issue by dismissing all those who struggle with such content as idiots who are not trying.

    You want more challenging MSQ dungeons and trials? Then you can either throw out half the players, which SQEX will never do, or you support a dual-track system which SQEX might actually develop.

    In my honest opinion, the dungeons we got now are still a little bit too easy, all hard content in this game is optional.

    If they want they can implement a pure story mode where you don't have to do any dungeon at all for all i care, the DT story being a boring snoozefest has nothing to do with the combat or encounter design, which was mostly great to wake me up from a the comatose "Talk with Wuk Lamat" story line.

    And when i say, "if you can't play this game" i mean that and i stand by that.
    I am really bad at FPS shooters, so i don't play them, but i also don't go to their community pages and complain to make it easier or give me an aimbot.

    You either learn and improve or go somewhere else, if you only want to see the story, you can also watch a video of it, there are plenty of playthroughs by various people.
    What is the value of the story anyway when you never experience any challenge or struggle or need to improve to proceed.

    What i agree on though, most jobs in the game have indeed too many skills and require too many hotkeys, but there are solutions for this problem, i could help you with that but not in the forum here.

    The big difference is most FPS games involve very little beyond FP shooting.

    An MMORPG on the other hand has a multitude of reasons why people play it. Preventing them from doing so because they don't excel at one tiny fraction of what is available, namely FF14's poorly-implemented PvE, should not IMO be a reason for them to quit the game.
