Corporations also have it in their best interest not to alienate their users time and again. Especially for a company front and center where players directly react to them.A core problem is, why wouldn't they? corporations aren't without blame of course, but their behavior is predictable and they will do what nets the most profit, and you will see no shortage of people wearing the Hilda hair around, or how it was impossible to not trip on people wearing the Leisurewear outfit all over the game the week or so after it came out, too many people are too willing to buy, and so Square sees it as free money.
Even I can't claim to be fully immune to it, any time I see that damn store, the Far Eastern Maiden outfit speaks to me like it is the damn Green Goblin mask...
