Why do casual players seem entitled to cosmetic items added in game?

You mean like how every single patch raiders spend millions of Gil buying the crafted sets so they can raid their or frantically level their crafters prior to the first tier of an expansion to make it themselves

You can buy this hairstyle, so it’s basically the same as raiders buying a heir gear locked behind casual crafting content

Thats not really a fair comparison and you know it.

-We know, based on years of experience when exactly a raid tier happen,
-We know that the crafter gear is the requirement to participate
-We know what you need to level for it if you want to craft it yourself,
-We also know that you need x amount of gil by the deadline.
-We know what materias you need

This gear btw is also guaranteed to drop in value massively as time goes on and the content stays the same for your enjoyment later on if you want to do it the hard way,or you can just unsync it later and do it so the rewards are never lost.

Meanwhile:

Chaotic was a completely unknown territory,
-We did not know how hard it will be, most people hoped that its more accessible than it is.
-We did not know how the reward structure is set up
-We did not know what the hair looks like until very close to the release
-We cant afford to wait, because the more people are done, the supply is getting weaker and weaker and the reward we want,becomes more expensive overtime.
-Speaking of waiting, we cant once again do that, because the content is not unsyncable like a savage is.

Once the sweats are done with the content and the initial supply of the hairstyle is gone, its GG.

The ironic situation i was talking about is more evil than you can imagine:

-Crafted gear is now replaced with cosmic gear just to mess up the planning
-You need a 40 hour grind to even unlock the recipe for it that requires a currency that was not available prior to release so you need to grind that one as well.
-Soft rework crafters so that macros dont work anymore just to make sure its enjoyable to craft <3
-It can only accept a new lvl13 materia that comes from island sanctuary or because im generous alternatively you can buy from beast tribe currencies if you have them all maxed out.
-Savage is now only 3 fights because seems like every content is being cut short nowadays
-The drops for savage are replaced with housing items.
