Not wanting to use Discord to run in-game content doesn't make someone anti-social. It means... they don't want to have Discord a required use to play the game?Stop being anti-social and...join discords dedicated to running this content? People still run Baldesion Arsenal / Delibrium Reginae (Savage) /Blue Mage Raids daily/weekly so if you really want to do this content, you will be able to no matter how removed from release it is.
The point is the content is clearly out of season or if the replayability is only based on glam well...once you acquire it...you're done. There's nothing wrong with having content like that and there's nothing wrong with finding a dedicated group for it.
you can totaly find ppl to do them in-game or official community tools.
I did DRS in EW from community finder.

Funny, because you don't need discord to do this content either, but it definitely speeds up the process of finding a group versus sitting in PF for awhile. If you want to go the long way, you dont NEED discord, it just significantly saves you time in recruitment.
Ahh yes, the classic retort, complains content is dead or hard to recruit -> someone suggests joining active discords that still prog this content -> materialize the social anxiety answer.I don't appreciate you attacking me for having an opinion different from yours. For your information, I suffer from social anxiety, and it's not something I can just simply turn off. I do join Discord tho and power through my anxiety but at some point, I get really tired of having to join 50 different discord just to be able to find a group to clear content in the game for glam. I stand by my point "What is the point of PF if we have to use discord to even for this type of content." Either way, maybe next time don't be so rude to someone you don't know.
If Discord, which really is just a time saver here, is such an inconvenience for you, then frankly you don't deserve any of the rewards. Let your anxiety roadblock you for as long as you let it. I will never get the social anxiety excuse, while playing a massive multiplayer online game which tends to have goals oriented around party play... talk about living an oxymoron.

Many people who suffer from social anxiety are attracted to MMOs. The fact they are socially anxious does not mean they dislike others. Frequently it's quite the reverse. They crave connection with other human beings, which is difficult to obtain IRL when social situations produce not only fear but in some cases profound physiological effects.
An MMO is for many such people a safer environment for the simple reason that if things get weird, there's an off switch. Getting on Discord voice with complete strangers is a very different experience from doing a DF dungeon.
Really shocked at such a callous attitude, particularly at this time of year.

First, you don't even have to say anything IF you are even getting on a voiced discord channel. The discords are for recruitment purposes of the content, not necessarily for voice comms itself when we are referring to BA DR and other such content.Have you ever bothered to ask, or do you prefer to just mock?

Also, the issue isn't that someone has a social anxiety of any sort. It's that going from "This is Dying/Dead content -> "Well Recruit via Discord" -> "But my social anxiety" Is an overused excuse with XIV players. If you are so adverse to community driven content and goals, while having crippling social anxiety, than you shouldn't be complaining about the content you seemingly CANT do regardless. Clearly you don't want those drops enough then.
Social anxiety can get tremendously worse with a single negative encounter. It is not safe for mentally damaged individuals to engage with strangers on the internet who may explode on them over a silly mistake. These things do happen and people with anxiety know that, this is why they protect themselves from such situations. It has nothing to do with not "wanting" the rewards enough. It would be great if we didn't bully those people when they express their side of the story, thanks for understanding.

You may not suffer from social anxiety but you certainly do so from ignorance. Social anxiety is a disorder that can cause physical symptoms and people like you just make it worse. It’s not about not wanting. Also, the issue isn't that someone has a social anxiety of any sort. That being said, while I find the raid fun, it would have been better to have a toned down version with at least slightly longer timers (or just remove the doom part). Being dependent on 23 other people to not mess up a mechanic is a bit much and contributes to toxicity. This game seriously lacks midcore content that could be used as a stepping stone for harder content.
I also always found the community in this game to not be very helpful. It's day 1 and there were several groups just pulling and not taking the time to explain anything causing the same mistakes being repeated over and over (this is not new to this Chaotic raid). Like there’s this day 1 blind fresh prog announced in PF. The group fails to deal with endeath because they don’t know what it does yet and someone immediately starts complaining at how people can’t deal with endeath and are incompetent. Why not simply explain what the mechanic is instead of throwing a tantrum that doesn’t help anyone. It wouldn’t take longer, it would be more pleasant and it would speed up the learning process.

If the content is unplayable/impractical to recruit for and do without Discord, then it isn't "community driven content and goals." It's content that is literally so dead that someone had to unfortunately make a third party place trying to find people to do it. This is some how a good thing to you how?First, you don't even have to say anything IF you are even getting on a voiced discord channel. But you can recruit for said content without discord, it just takes longer without it. But that's also the nature of content that in itself is dated. Ultimates are outside of that for example, but something like DR, BA and Blue Raids are not generally current content and several expansions removed. There is no content in any MMO that transcends multiple years of relavancy and is equally as active as when it first released. If the content is unplayable/impractical to recruit for and do without Discord, then it isn't "community driven content and goals." You can attempt to recruit for dated content without Discord, yes. It takes forever if the attempt is successful. Are you saying it's good that Discord is required to do some of the content of the game, or...? Because if people can't be bothered to do content despite the obvious interest in it without a Discord, that sounds like a problem. But you can recruit for said content without discord, it just takes longer without it.
