Just went to take a look at Aether PF and granted we're not in prime time, but the only duty where a spot was locked to PCT were FRU PFs. Just as egregious to me was that most of those PFs also locked the flex spot to just melees or locked MCH out. Savage parties, Unreal parties, extreme farm, even old ultimates, none of them had PCT locks.

To me that shows that while PCT is definitely an outlier in FRU, it's just the same old meta obsessed mentally some PFers have, like when some PFs in Abyssoss locked out RDM and MCH from PF long after the DPS check in P8S p1 had been nerfed and since EW till now, PF locks in double melee even though double caster is more viable than ever before.

And even then, PF clearly doesn't seem to be locking in PCT in every content because of its dominance in one fight. PCT in its current state is mostly in line with other jobs in most content, to the point that the average player does not care what caster joins their PF. So stating that Chaotic AR next week will be PFs locked to 2-4 PCT everywhere feels completely overblown and will most likely only happen if the fight is extremely downtime heavy.
