The point of a game is to have fun. If I'm not having fun, I can and will drop a duty. I'll accept the 30 minute timer, because that is an appropriate "punishment" for inconveniencing others. "You don't pay my sub" goes both ways; I can't force you to play the way I want, but you can't force me to run a dungeon with you either. That isn't fair to *me.*

So you just queued into a duty. 0 minutes into it, you're not having fun. Why did you queue for it then?

At the very least, the harsher punishments should apply if you don't at least wait for some pulls to occur first.

Being completely fair, if that happens, it usually is because they were in the book process, and it is very practical to save your Atma in the gearset so if you switch jobs you don't forget to reequip when you stumble on the right FATE, and they should have the right weapon with them as well, just going "Hey NIN I think you have the wrong weapon equipped" would solve all issues and not require you to leave, if they don't after that it's a whole other issue.

You could cite a Job Rock missing as something just as severe that can't be easily fixed while inside the dungeon.

I said it because I made that mistake when I first made a Zodiac weapon a few times, the DRG one in this case, it wasn't as severe cuz I was still in post-HW, but still, I had it called to my attention a few times, and a few other times I noticed on my own after a pull or two, if they were still not responding when addressed, yeah you are right.

There is also the consistent issue of Job Rocks missing, it's wild they don't make them mandatory to que at this point, they are mandatory in PvP so what gives...

Maybe because I wasn't expecting to get Susano NM in Trial Roulette for the 5th time in a row and decided to eat the loss and leave. I can do that. God knows I dropped the old Toto Rak half a hundred times over seven years or so.

I mean, sure, go ahead and implement that. It will NOT change anything for me should I wish to avoid certain duty: Crystal Tower ARs.

What do I do to avoid that?

1. Not queue at all, OR;
2. Make sure to leave AR roulette as the last thing I'll do before calling it a day or not deal with DF anymore. Get CT raid? Insta-bail.

Most of the time I stick to the 2nd option. Rewards and penalty be damned, they're not worth it if I'm literally falling asleep on my own gameplay. I realize OP mentioned about dungeon, but I'm sure others can certainly apply this to every other roulettes.

No kidding. Getting any VPR duty below level 80 is an outright curse. You don't even get a third button to press until level 55 for crying out loud.
