Portraits were a lovely addition to the game! It lets players have a way to express themselves to a newly met party in a dungeon!

Portaits are cool too bad we cant use them on forum outside of signatures
You open the door theres nothing in sight. You close the door wondering whats in sight. But lets be honest its probably gonna just let you down.

I dislike Portraits and turned them off. I would like the option to disable them in Crystalline Conflict as they still show up there.
However it is very silly to ask to remove the feature all together. If you don't like them don't use them, no need to take them away from others.
it does work a little better now
but if i'm being real, i stopped caring about it ages ago. when i get the flouride stare default portrait, i just roll with it.
... honestly would be cool if instead of the flouride-stare default lodestone looking thing, they just had it default to your standalone adventurer plate. at least that way, you could always have something that you customized standing in.

Oh lordy, framer kits as a "reward." I'd be much happier with 5 gil.Jokes on you, I don't really customize my Adventure Plate either, lol.
I know people find these features great and all and I would never ask them to be removed, but it just isn't something I have any interest in, and I'm always left disappointed when my reward for doing certain content (like Series PVP) is just more framer kits that I'll never use.
