I feel your pain. I unironically wish they'd never done a graphical update at all. I never had an issue with how the game looked before. Was it a little goofy looking sometimes due to the more low-rez graphics? Sure, but that was part of its charm.

Now there's no charm. Just this weird, uncanny, artificial sheen over every character's face that makes it look like their souls have been sucked out.

Limbal rings got absolutely eviscerated when it comes to female aura. They look like car headlights when in brighter areas of the game & outright drown out the iris color overall. That's something that's also pissed me off about the changes. Some love it (the limbal ring changes), some hate it, but I'm part of the later group.
