You do not have to shut down peoples requests in every thread.

If someone wants a new race, you can support that wish, and support the push for better customization at the same time. It might be more logical to suggest improvements to customization first, but we can have both.

When someone wants new jobs, and you don't like the idea of there being more jobs added to the game, but you also want job balance changes, you can have both. Push for more devs to be hired to the teams that handles the jobs.

Don't think healing or tank jobs can add anything more to the game? Don't play them when they come out then. Push for better healing and tank mechanics, as well as job balances that make these roles more fun.

Some people love the character(s), content, jobs, and plotlines you hate. You can disagree with someone while also not putting someone down for having a better experience with the content you did not enjoy.

The reality is, development budgets are finite resources. So a paying customer has every right to voice opposition to suggested ideas if they believe it would be diverting resources not only away from developing things they actually want, but also if the idea is just bad for the game in general.

So the thing is that support alone is enough to show how much popularity an idea has. If its a bad idea, less people will support it. Good ideas will have more traction.

Sure, but this is a discussion forum. If someone posts an idea you don't like, there is nothing wrong with stating so. I'm pretty sure if I went through most people's history here they would have some disagreement with somebody. And that's fine.

No one here can prevent anyone from sharing their ideas. Whether someone pops in to disagree doesn't change the idea is there to be read.

I don't agree with you, because of the way that this game works in development cycles. Things can be put on the backburner while other things get worked on in the front.

And at some point there is a limit to what they can realistically release. They can't backburner every whim we have here. The forums are also and endless stream of feedback, and many ideas even here conflict with one another.

As opposed to wishes for nothing? That’s not much of a wish. Imagine being the genie just offering any kind of suggestion so they can grant something and leave. The lamp rubber just keeps going off on why every suggestion isn’t realistic or why someone would be dumb for wanting that or why it would take resources away from other things.
