They wanted a rework, because they reached a dead end by drg (at EW time), and wouldnt know, how to improve him futher. The rework was set up to reduce the buttons in burst Mode. And, to create new room for improvement.

Second: reducing the number of skills feels in the current new dungeon correctly.
Boss 2 is extrem movement forced (i complained, that its anti-blm). And Boss 3 has a very small movement frame in the second phase.
It could be hard to use all the offensive skill + dodging all stuff, if whe had the 2 additional attacks to do (i even forgot sometimes, that i had 2 charges left in 7.0).
