My friends quit because they had absolutely nothing to do and because the events were reduced to simple cutscenes as two of the reasons.
We were there when the rising event was a fighting quest line in Ul’Dah. We were there when we got the awesome 8bit labyrinth mini game as well.

Make fun of it all you want but there are people that actually want to play this game and don’t despair because they don’t get instant rewards in an event. There are people that actually don’t get nightmares because they wonder if they manage to play an event for more than 10 minutes or miss out on the rewards.
You are the one who defends getting no content in a video game and used the word FOMO.
I seriously don’t understand where the fear of missing out is coming from when you have to do more than a single cutscene.
You also reduce all to the haunted mansion and other people failing when we had far more in the past even single player style.

And for the one and done problem you have.
No one forces the devs to not bring this content back if only in the gold saucer.
So that is a problem on them.

I really wonder how people can happily ask for less content in this game and I really wonder why some of you even log in if you all dread anything that is more than crystal tower in roulette or a cutscene in an event.

Yes I am angry about this and you know why?
Because I saw over the years the game give less and less, saw friends leave because if it and still there are people defending it all because they have a fear of missing a reward they have so much time to get.

But you know what? Do whatever you want. I think it’s better if I just don’t care anymore.
I and others were only good enough for the devs to get the game till now. We are no longer the audience.

I didn't say even half of what you've accused me of saying but you can keep lying all you want.

I literally said I want them to put the work into permanent content and not into seasonal stuff. Dev time and resources are limited and if they're going to spend that time on stuff it should be spent on things that we can continue to enjoy, not something that they then take take away and then the items from get put into the cash shop.

It's scummy that we pay a sub and then they design instances and items that are limited time and then they get put into the cash shop for them to double dip.

It's scummy that I can't replay that content when I want to.

It was literally Jan 2022 when we got the new instance for All Saints Wake that got delayed because of the pandemic, which seems to be what ya'll think is the pinnacle of gameplay that is so sorely missing.

And again, I never said that. I want more content in the game, and I could complain about the lack of things getting put in the game, but that's not what this thread is about so I don't feel the need to air that out here, since the thread is about seasonal events which I think are fine as they are.
