People however only remember because a weapon that less than 1% of the community ever even seen drop could be the same ilvl as current Savage.

    People can say what they want about Bozja but it had without a doubt the best instance with Delub. Some of the greatest Boss designs and combat designs in general went on in there. It is hands down the best 24man content they ever released and is something we need more of. You can also dunk on Bozja and say people only done it for the relics but they did do it. It gave people a reason to play the game. Delub was popping off. People were always about. In EW there wasn't a sinner to be seen anywhere. An MMO where you don't see other players is a joke really. It's not really about the content, it's about giving people something to do together.

    This game is not perfect, far from it, but people really need to stop complaining and start coming up with meaningful suggestions before we lose more content.
    That’s the thing they “listen” but they don’t really listen

    Nobody and I mean literally NOBODY who asked for harder 24 man raids wanted a single boss that plays like a savage fight but with 24 people. They wanted an actual savage alliance raid in the vein of BA or DRS

    this is a lot of the problem, they do things that technically align with the design brief but not really, then they wonder why nobody is really vibing with what they do, it’s the same as IS people wanting animal crossing, not weird robot sweatshop simulator or people wanting mythic+ style dungeons, not basically a weird proto ultimate in criterion savage (to be fair I’m not knocking criterion’s design here just how it related to what people asked for)

    As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.

    I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess

    There's a big difference between "We want the alliance raids to be harder" and then just making a 24-man savage trial fight. Personally I would love to have an alliance raid where the difficulty and complexity was something along the lines of OG Labyrinth, Weeping City, Diabolos Hollow, Hashmal, The Orbonne Monastery or Copied Factory. Fights that give a good challenges with several mechanics, but still do-able with some practice in duty finder groups.

    People did ask for 24 man Savage though. People also want the regular 24 man difficulty increased and we will see next month whether it is. That being said people complained about the current expert dungeons as they were 'too hard'. The average player simply isnt good enough, and Savage isn't as hard as everyone thinks it is. 24man savage shouldn't even be that hard, we shall see on release how it turns out and how they can tune it in the future. Let's give the content a chance first.

    I feel like the reason people complain about he 24 man chaos raid is the exact reason you talk about in the second part of your game : the lack of reason to play the game. It seems like a "let's double down on giving the raiders, which is probably the only part of the players base that got decent attention during the last 3 years, something they enjoy", while the rest of the playerbase goes "for the raiders again?", I also want something to do in the game. As much as Bozja/Zadnor was perfectible, it was such a good place to just enjoy the game in down periods. If we had that kind of content, the reaction to chaos raid would be "not for me but that's cool".

    To me it's not about people complaining, but also about the team to not only hear feedback, but understand them. I'm still waiting to see what their new exploratory zone will be, but in the few occurence they talked about, they only mentionned the fact that people wanted to play together, and never mentionned the whole "give some long running content to do for people that don't want to go play other games". Most critics about relics and lack of exploratory zones had this engagement angle at least to some degree, even if it was rarely mentionned as such. It's also the team job to analyse such feedback and take that kind of analysis out of it.

    Oh that's easy, that's the amount of money that doesn't get reinvested in the game.
    You can see the Dawntrail bar is red because it's very angry.
