    As much as people will yell at me for this I don't care I have to say it. I don't often call for nerfs but Picto needs a nerf. Badly. It is impacting other DPS jobs now since there is always a picto at this point in rouls and stuff. They their damage is way too high when I can't always get a full openee off on a mob or we are skipping more and more mechanics with bosses at lvl 100 in dungeons and raids.

    Sorry, Picto needs a rebalancing. When you have 9/10 DPS queue in as one, there is a reason that is more than its fun to play. (For the record I like the job mechanically, I think its just too high for dps output)

    Not only that but its also the caster that works best under the 2m meta and the caster that can capitalize downtime the hardest making it borderline broken on fights with an ultimate-like structure (Its already the top dps in TEA,DSR and TOP) and even in casual content like dungeons is the top dps being head and shoulders above its caster competition and displacing blm as the caster meta for speedruns.

    Its something a little more than just a "bit" overtuned

    It wouldn't surprise me if they didn't account for the buffs while tuning M4S, but he said around DT's release that the timeline in the original "improved encounter design" interview was a mistranslation and that it'll be an iterative thing from 7.2 on.

    I dont find this a problem, a class being top dps in each fight, but I agree that due to his mobility + group shield he should deal less damage, he needs a little nerf but it's not "broken" to me
    smn/rdm have raises, it's not really comparable, and honestly I still prefer to raid with a smn/rdm than a pct/blm except for speedkill

    Yeah, it's a problem, we'll see for FRU, I dont consider old content for balance

    DO NOT EXPECT MUCH THAN THE USUAL... Realistically what going to happen, a mention and maybe an apology for story, but that theyre too deep into it to change anything about. Beyond that this is the part 1 of the LL, so expect no mention of job changes, should see some slides about upcoming content, new 24m and its savage, Shade's Triangle, and Cosmic Exploration, and thats prolly it...

    I believe in an interview with Preach just before DT launch, he said he doesnt want to do Blitzball and doesnt think it would work and would be a lot of work for something that would fall off. Im paraphrasing but that was the gist of it. Sorry bud

    I mean if you don't see a class that is top dps on top of having great mobility (including an extra sprint on a low cd), party damage buff, heal, shield, great damage gains when there is downtime, insane aoe damage and great burst to play into buffs as something slightly broken I think we simply understand what is broken different.

    Smn and Rdm are comparable because they also fight for the caster slot and the difference rn is so high that having a PCT imply being able to skip mechanics or afford a death debuff count that you woudn't be able if you had a Rdm or Smn, let alone how as you go up in difficulty the battle rez is less and less valuable as mechanics are harder to recover from (this tier being the outlier).

    If we were talking about UWU or UCOB that would be fair, but PCT is top dps in both TOP and DSR which are very likely to have a similar structure to FRU and from 90 to 100 the classes dont have that many changes. It doesn't take a genius to realize that a class that can transform any trio mechanic into dps gains (by painting there) its very likely to be even stronger than the rest when its competition rely on uptime (blm) or gauges (rdm)

    And there is also the thing of the dungeons which is not old content and PCT is head and shoulders above the rest of the casters because not only has great single target dps but also the greatest aoe dps.
