What's Your Dream Version of Player Housing?

If anything, there's too many plots available right now. My server has 27 non-FC plots that are vacant and it gets worse every lottery cycle. The system can't keep up. There's similar numbers on most servers (your own server has 30!).
Besides, even on "guaranteed bid" plots, people tend to miss out on bidding day 1. A LB41 (basically the best plot in the game) opened up about a week ago on my server and by the end of the first day it had less than 100 bids. By the end of the lottery? 500 bids. People were not waiting to see if it was a good idea to bid on this plot (it wasn't, 400+ bids lmao), they just didn't get around to bidding until later because most people do not religiously check open plots. A quicker system would only lead to more bids if people actually cared enough to check plots every single day, which is just not how most people play the game.

That's 27-30 plots that became available over a 9 day period. Break that down into a 2 day period, with only one day available to enter, and there will be fewer houses available each lottery period for everyone that is looking for a house.

Right now, no one needs to check plots daily because the supply isn't changing daily. Additional plots don't get added to the lottery once an entry period starts so players only need to check once during the 5 day entry period.

If changed to your suggestion, someone who wants a house would start checking every other day because that's how often the available supply would change. They will no longer be able to afford to wait like they can now.

I'm using this thread (and the forum, which is a bit more dynamic than the housing thread) to find out if there's any news about the increase in decoration objects?

Nothing new has been said so far other than that it's coming.

I'm hoping it will be mentioned in the Live Letter this weekend since the x.1 patch has tended to be when we get the major housing updates.
