What's Your Dream Version of Player Housing?

Open world region based city building like in Star Wars Galaxies. That's unlikely to ever happen though so I'd settle for zoned city building like in Age of Conan.

Having an FC house sucks. Having apartments sucks. I want to be able to build a community where everyone can have their own house, and we build a little village together.

I loved housing player cities in SWG so much, though once I got my Yacht from the pre-order, I pretty much lived in that in orbit around Tattooine or Naboo. I can't imagine them ever getting it to work properly here though.

I had a friend who did the same. She didn't do any combat content at all, her entire gameplay experience was throwing parties on the yacht and organising monthly server events. I'll never forgive Smedley for what SOE did to that game. RIP Cult of the Sarlacc.

It's funny how strong of a community a game can foster when there's friction and every playstyle needs each other.

Though to be fair, it wasn't just Smedly that ruined the game. Don't forget Julio Torres for turning it into a WoW clone.
