I'm sorry but regardless of what has occurred in the past, why are you raging about this? It is a simple suggestion for a QoL improvement that would be optional for those who want to make use of it.

Also, sometimes people do learn and change for the better but it's usually not an overnight process. Holding grudges over past mistakes are a sure way to end up miserable for life.

OP is the vocal minority here. The point I have in bringing them up is because they had already been brought up and the other thread has evidence of OP using them which only makes the "You are literally the only person who cares about this" point even more notable.

We all know how much easier it is for modders to do things than SE. For example, Viera Hats and Cross-Job Glamouring.
If even they don't want to touch this issue with a 10 yalm pole, then it'll be physically impossible for SE to do anything.

I haven't done any Likes anywhere. It's a system I don't use or pay attention to.

I've actually liked some of your comments, but yeah, it's generally an ignored system. And I'm glad you spoke first. I'm not about to respond to all that rage. This is a drama free suggestion thread for a QoL feature.

Except it's not a change that impacts the public. It's completely optional. It can only affect you if you turn the option on. You would be free to leave the option turned off. The only way it affects the public is if Square Enix pulls a bad and makes the option be turned on by default.

Housing system need improvement but there is limited time and resources from Dev's part.
The time and resources can be used on a lot of thing that benefits majority over your minority concern.

For example, PvP need a lot changes but PvP community need to wait until every X.1 patch for major tune over because Devs don't have enough time for it.
Some players want better character customization
We as players want a lot but there is only limited time and resources for Dev to implant those

I'm aware of the patch cycles and what the dev priorities are. As I said, I'm not in a rush to get support for this. I'm sharing the suggestion. If the devs take notice of it and find it to be something worth adding to the game, awesome. If they don't, that's disappointing, but it's not the end of the world. I'm putting the suggestion forward because it's something that falls in line with the direction the devs have gone with some of the other quality of life features, such as the blacklist becoming the exile list, and the thing with removing from view players that are crowded around quest NPCs.

How does this suggestion impact the public beyond giving players an option to control what is visible to their own self? We don't know what effort would be required for the developers to implement the suggestion. Presumably not much since they just implemented the new systems that allows players to hide other players under certain situations but again we can't know for certain.

The OP can opt to turn off everything but it won't affect what you, I or anyone else would see. As I pointed out in my initial response, it could also be very helpful to players using older clients when it comes to loading into housing. A lot of players experience drastically increased load times when entering a ward due to the game needing to load the additional furnishing assets that vary from ward to ward.

Players also cried about male Viera and how many of those can you spot in game? None of us can truly predict how the player base will react to new things until after those things are added. Should SE stop adding new things to the game altogether?

I don't see any harm in it as a suggestion even if it's not a feature I expect to use myself (unless my loading times start getting worse than they already are). Someone else using it won't impact my game experience. Leave it up to SE on whether they feel it is worth implementing.

The question becomes what part of SE's team would handle the creation of such a system and what other content projects are they committed to. This would be a purely technical implementation and that's not a side of game development that players tend to seek out information on. They're more interested in the design side.
