The only time I recall getting 4 commendations in FL was when I asked an excessively spammy commander to take it down a notch and got a stream of "say/se.x" macros in response.I mean, it's an Alexander mecha, *of course* I needed it.
But then I'm also deranged enough to keep queuing for Frontlines when I had nothing to gain at all. There was a long stretch of time before Dawntrail came out where I was capped on poetics/marks, had 6000+ crystals, and with every combat job at 90. Literally the only thing of value I could have gained was commendations, and those were incredibly rare no matter what job I played.
I praise your faith in the humanity but that is not the truth
You will see the wraith from a ranked Feast player after he got KO by you within 3 GCDs. (no longer possible after patch 5.1)
PVP on this game is trash, healers that can't heal, tanks that can't tank and the mentality that the teams needs to run away from EVERYTHING. The pvp is totally unbalanced with some classes able to kill in 2 hits and others needing 20 hits to do the same. But it will be like that forever because of the attitude of the players. When we complain about something the answer is "YOU ARE DOING THAT BECAUSE YOU WANT", no, I'm doing that because a PAYED for the game and i want something DECENT. And NO, its not good jus because YOSHI P. said so. And NO, its not good because you play this game since you are a child. And NO, its not good because you don't do content. ITS BAD AND THAT's REALITY.
Can the devs remove Shatter already?
I've always been skeptical about cheating in FL, but to those of you saying it doesn't happen, you're wrong.
I'd invite those of you who can stomach Aether/Shatter today to look out for a speed-hacking DRK. I usually attribute "funny" motion to netcode, but this character brazenly shot past me on a ramp (I was mounted). Others also saw this speed boost. There was an additional claim they were cleansing chain stuns in an impossible manner, but I didn't see that and it's harder to be sure IMO.
I'm optimistic 7.1 will bring positive changes. The only way we can protect the mode as players is to report cheats. Please do so.
If you are referring to two types of cheats these DK is using, yes, they do exist (Eventide hack to avoid Ninja's Seiton Tenchu and Salted Earth hack to increase the range to 20+ yeard).I've always been skeptical about cheating in FL, but to those of you saying it doesn't happen, you're wrong.

The problem is the environment is too chaotic for normal players to tell the difference
No reports generated equals nothing can be done
For every 10 DKs you see, at least 3 of them are using it; especially those premade one.
We got what we ask for. The only ones who benefit from this is the lazy folks that is totally okay with only farming and placing last...maybe I am going overboard with this, but that's just how I feel currently. You can blame those that prioritizes running to the devs for a rule change over learning the map/mode.PVP on this game is trash, healers that can't heal, tanks that can't tank and the mentality that the teams needs to run away from EVERYTHING. Premades are going to be dealt with before cheaters. On top of this, if you're in an environment where folks don't care about results the cheaters are going to get a pass like some of the afk people do. In that instance good luck getting a big enough group to care about reporting them. You're more likely to get them banned from CC than frontlines.I've always been skeptical about cheating in FL, but to those of you saying it doesn't happen, you're wrong.

I would love for instead of people claiming things, for them to say specific names of the premades and give what exploits they are using, otherwise it all just sounds like baseless complaints. Are their videos of these "hacks" being used also would love a source. A lot of the good dark knights stream in discords and or on twitch so please if you could find a clip of someone auto evertiding or toggling on something that would be very helpful.
Ah yes, call out the cheats so they can get banned for "name & shame", GL with that buddy. Instead of trying to get folks in trouble, try doing some research on your own, a quick search will show you all kinds of ish that SHOULD get cheats permabanned for and yet either nothing happens or they're given a tiny slap on the wrist.
Premades are the worst part about this game.
