Where is there copy paste in the cities, anyway? I never noticed it.Do you really have a problem with copy/paste going on in cities?
Isn't that what people do?
I thought the main problem was believing that natural terrain would be copied exactly every few feet....
But a city... a man made city is going to be copy pasted... thats actually one of the key elements of a city...
Ishgard is being redesigned to have a front gate that actually opens, lol.
They still have to open up areas on the city maps that you cant go to, like the Lotus Wards.
They might not re-do the cities and instead just add buildings for these above. Who knows...I think they said the cities will be remade as well.
Hopefully we will get an actually AH instead on an empty wall of air to trade with.
Hopefully we will get an actual building for the grand companies.
Hopefully the Airship docks in Ul'dah and Limsa will be part of the same zone as the city and not require loading.
Grandia needs to be more like in the original artwork and less like what it is now.
this is what's scary about the 2.0 artwork. It looks amazing but so did the initial XIV artwork and look what we got in the end....
It's happening tho'. All maps will go back to zones like in XI with loading screens, that's what they calim in the 2.0 documents at least. They said it's to have more diverse and dynamic maps, yet other MMO got that and they got seemless maps too..... I guess it's a graphics thing, other mmos are not on the same graphical level as XIV.
I get the feeling that the Dragoon quest NPC will be located INSIDE Ishgard in version 2.0, though I could be wrong.According to 2.0 PDF's:
"Campaign of battles against the dragon horde in the defense of Ishgard, with participation possible as any of the four Disciplines."
So I hope that means we can enter Ishgard by then! Unless they just let you do everything outside Ishgard like dragoon quests <_<
