I mean DB does have multiple degrees of Canon. They have DBZ, movies, super, anime super, manga super etc... no? Now I just play the games for the gameplay I do not follow the lore much behind them does GG have differing Canon for different games? Like variate versions of characters on the same character within the lore?My opinion is when you retcon something, you are creating a different continuity. I consider this a retcon and thus the current Briget and the original Briget are not the same person. One is a trap and the other is trans. It's like with Dragonball GT, it was considered cannon by Shueisha and Akira Toriyama and they they changed retconned it as if it never happened and continued with Super. You may argue that it was an entire season that got retconned but there has been many smaller retcons in the dragonball series.

I mean you do not know if that is a fact either, that is my point none of us known all of it is speculation. We do not know what their true feelings on the subject are. All we can go by are what they say. We cannot prove it one way or another we can speculate and such but that is all it is at this point is speculation. All of that is moot.Ok, i will make ti clear to you : Arc System Work doesn't own GG licence for years now.
It's Sammy Sega.
They don't have the upper hands on GG anymore, so, basically, some upper ups put this words into his mouth and torld him to forgot what he created.
This is also one of the reason why Arc Sys created BlazBlue.
Say turning Bridget trans as 100% a focus group call, does that suddenly mean they are not trans now? In this moment they are trans that is my point. The reason behind the change does not change the fact they are trans. Like I do not get why does it bother people so much. Is it weird to make Bridget trans based off the lore? Yeah, but if this is the way they wish to show respenstation more power to them. As stated Trans, alien, a Rossete variate, Reverse Trap, Trap, orange blob they are still an S tier pick in terms of their skill set.
The powers at be made a change, and that change will stick until it is reverted and tbh I don't see that happening. So as fans you have two choices, go to the better game BlazBlue or play GG. I think complaining about a character having their story changed or what is kind of silly but you do you.
I didn't like the job she did with Wuk Lamat but I stopped mentioning it because genuinely I saw nothing but the grossest, nastiest comments laden with transphobia and all kinds of stuff completely unrelated to the VA job she did attached to the majority of people criticizing her work after a certain point. At the start of the expansion there were legitimate criticisms, but most people just stopped caring as they finished the MSQ and moved on and all that was left were the bigots.
I genuinely don't care if she did a good job or not now, it's not worth the treatment she's receiving and being lumped in with the worst people on the internet. After seeing it I actually wouldn't even care if we got more Wuk Lamat and VA work from her just to spite these weirdos.
If the Americans are off the forums, Aussies can sit on the sidelines with our Canadian and Kiwi awesome friends and just let you remaining old-world guys slog it out once again between yourselves.

I'm not sure if they're friends but i'm pretty sure they're the same species, the woke one.How did this turn into a thread about whether a Guilty Gear character is trans or not?
Back on topic, I keep seeing people say that Sena is a personal friend of Kate on the localization team. Do we have any solid evidence of that claim? Because I keep seeing that get posted with no source. I would like to know if that's true though, as that would look like a major conflict of interest.
