If you were against my name alone, you wouldn't have any need to reply at all. You were both against the post and my name, and now you're trying to play it off like you didn't care about the post in the first place.

We already have a system, it's called social etiquette.
If I meet someone and introduce myself as "Bob" and then the person decides to call me "Ugly stupidface" instead, I will feel insulted, it's not hard to understand.

Your name is objective. I'm not interested in arguing for hateful rhetoric towards people. If I call you the wrong name, I would upset you, but I wouldn't spurn the ire of a group to come attack me for it. Misgendering however, has an elevated threat level in society and nobody dares deviate from it or else they'll attract unwanted attention. It's treated with far more hate then any other social etiquette misbehavior.

I just don't think going on a crusade against people who misgender is the right way to get accepted by others.
