Weird. I'm playing Accent core and he keeps calling himself a boy when people mistake him for a girl.So you disregard the one who creates the game, who also acts as designer for character, story and music.
Because you dislike her being Trans.
Or on what basis do you think you reasonable can claim your opinion over the very direct confirmation made be the person who made the character?
Honestly while we can all agree that any form of harassment is awful, from the few posts I read from Sena I feel like she's also not simply voicing her opinions, which would be fine, but she's seems to be kinda instigating? starting shit? needlessly controversial?
Like there are way to voice your opinion without provoking people
That's my feeling when I read her at least, and I feel she needs a break from social media especially if she's indeed getting death threats and law enforcement are investigating on the case
Like the whole post about Bridget while she voices a character that is female and not trans is wild to me

I mean obviously its in the text.... "This is where the Arcade Mode story begins. After her exchanges with Goldlewis and Ky, Bridget faces parts of herself she has tried to ignore, and makes a big decision for herself.
I hope that all of you will watch over her path after her courageous choice to stay true to her own feelings" that happend in strife which is the newest game.
Question.
Regardless of what Bridgett is, who is she to determine what kind of VA a character gets? Why the identity has to match?
Wouldn't be the first creator that has made stupid decisions with their characters. Let's butcher a character's personality, and retcon everything that came before it, because "reasons". Yeah, no. Their opinion can be discarded, just like every other dog water sequel that trashes established lore.So you disregard the one who creates the game, who also acts as designer for character, story and music.
Because you dislike her being Trans.

can't see word "trans" anywhere. why didn't he call bidget trans, if the point was to elucidate her feelings about herself?
i suspect: maybe japanese cultural pov (which the creator might have more likely than any other - correct if im wrong <3) handles what other places call "trans" differently. we have all seen it:
busybodies in university x learn of hijra/2spirit/oshtisch/sipiniq/koekchuch/mahu/etc and think "heureka, all of that = trans!", because they see them as analogs. as if the cultural layer was so insignificant. of course it isn't.
not saying i am some kind of expert, no no no. but i was under understanding that japan, as culture, after you peel off modern/foreign stuff trying to sway it --
(not bad thing, cultures change, but it's usually truly lasting change when it's as close to organic as possible, when majority adopts the change)
-- is of that sort which for cultural cohesion would like to see their homosexuals conform. preferably by not normalizing same-sex couples, but encouraging same sex couple to look like hetero couple. so, one of them better do the social transition at least.
was under the understanding that that's common-ish in asia

the thing is tho a while ago. Some va voiced that you should only play voice a role if you are in that group. they want it to be as authentic to the character.
But to answer your question. it truly doesn't matter
for a year, would you rather be secretly filmed at random moments and have the footage uploaded to your social media or loose $100 when ever you said a curse word?
Agreed. It's the same as with any diversity hire. I give 0 shits what nationality/race you are. I just want whoever is best for the job.

Bridget is just a well know reverse trap.
And, like a lot of male teen/shota character, he was dubbed by a woman in Japanese.
