I thought WAR was supposed to be a DD or tank, and PLD was supposed to be tank only. XDYour example would be valid if BLM was meant to actually be able to heal.... It is not. Warrior and Paladin on the other hand are both tank style classes. Now if you said WHM is a better nuker than BLM, the class that is thought to be the top nuking class, then I could agree and say your analogy is valid.
Aye WAR is supposed to be a tank that could tank groups of weaker mobs and can backup in the case a PLD goes down, and PLD is supposed to be the tank that can shrug off the hits and keep doing it's thing. Functionally they work perfectly, the problem however there isn't anything on PLD that really makes it take less damage than WAR (broken shield vs. parry mechanics aside).
