Let's talk about the upcoming DRG rework...

So you think it made dragoon hard to know the sequencing of high jump mirage dive and geirskogul? That's the only thing that made dragoon "harder" pre-dawntrail. If you did those 3 abilities in the wrong sequence you would get major drift that would add up to a huge potency loss over the fight. Now the opener is much more complex, and the burst windows are much more complex as well. Why do you people insist on lying to make yourselves look elite? Dragoon is harder now, you wanted it easier and based on knowing correct sequencing that wasn't intuitive. Just admit that you want the job to be contrived so your parses look better. You definitely don't want the job to be more complex or difficult, or else you would be celebrating the dawntrail changes.

If you can't appreciate the fantasy of the new mobility combo feeling like a soaring dragon doing a loop then that's an issue with player imagination. That's what I mean when I say "bad at fantasy". It's not difficult or complex for me to elaborate on that one.

When did I complain about dawntrail dragoon being more difficult than the previous iterations? I am a from software gamer primarily, difficulty is not a complaint for me. I am just stating the fact that dawntrail dragoon is more difficult inputs than previous iterations, this is objectively true. Most posters here are saying it has been simplified for casuals, meanwhile it's the hardest iteration of the job. It's not contrived anymore, there's no unintuitive nonsense in the sequencing, it's just more difficult where it counts. Parsers are complaining because they don't get free score compared to their peers who didn't educate themselves on the contrived parts of the rotation.

Got a levelling dungeon that was, 37 I think? I didn't have a single AoE. Not one. That's just madness.

Even the level 50 MSQ main scenerio quests, you're just spamming Doom Spike over and over. Not fun.

I made a post myself about this issue and how they could help just by tweaking some Traits sadly due to all the hate from people over DT msq it got shadowed but like instead for example of having Geirskogul at 60 to have it in lv50 and at level 60 you get 2 nastrond like it was before in EW at lv70 just to help a bit DRG really fall off the mark in lower content and it really shouldn't for a starter job. I will be honest Spine shatterremoval would not bother me that much if DRG had more stuff at this level but there is not and even do they buff Dragonfire dive to 500 potency they gave it a 50% aoe fall off which mean thats its even worse for aoes from flat 300 to a 50% 500 potency fall of meaning now its 50%. And the problem rn is sure its fun DRG is busy but all of it arrive way too late way. True Story okay: Back when I joined 3 years ago I wanted to do UWU to get Gae Bolg ultima cuz you know it look sick. DRG was my main and when I tried to find a group they asked me to pick something else because DRG damage back then was fucking horrible with only 2 nastrond at lv 70 and no finisher so I couldn't

I'm fairly certain we're due for a level squish in 8.0, which should improve the leveling situations for many jobs.

But at the same time I'm not sure about that since VPR doesn't have much at low levels, just like RPR...

I pray that they consider at least DRG aoes its not normal for a DPS to beg to have the minimum they did that in the past for DRK that had their 2nd aoe at fucking lv72 it was such a pain DRK couldnt get mp back in trash pull
