But that's not what the OP is saying. The OP is saying that a tank trying to solo the boss from a high HP percentage while everyone else is dead is wasting everyone's time, which they absolutely are.
It's kind of funny how this is a no-brainer too if you actually have a shred of empathy.

If people who are doing the MSQ for their first time want to watch the cutscenes then it stands to reason that they also want to actually fight the bosses too, not watch someone else fight the bosses. It especially sours the cutscenes after the dungeon because it's all "Whoo you defeated the boss" even though you were lying on the ground or had to respawn because the tank was insistent they were the real main character and fought the boss for 5 minutes straight to kill it.

People can argue skill issue if they want, but at the end of the day tanks who are insistent on soloing the bosses in its entirety are ruining people's MSQ experience by not resetting when there's no chance of recovery and the boss still has a lot of health.
