Why is there no refund for the 48 hours maintenance?

There were a very very rare few times where Blizz has done that. Most infamously during the Lizard Squad DDoS debacle. However, they have never actually given any credit for actual maintenance scheduled or Emergency.

You sure about that? I distinctly remember a few times where they did credit people. It might have only been for certain servers that were particularly finicky, I played on one of the more populated ones.

Either way, as I mentioned every other MMO I've played that had extended downtimes has credited active subscribers as compensation.
