


They have a point when you look at the bigger picture of resource allocation, but it's been obvious for years that the PvE battle system devs and everyone that evaluates their work just don't care, so even infinite time and money wouldn't result in anything more than some more Bahamut reskins.
It's not a matter of not enough resources, it's a matter of the game's design philosophy that is fundamentally broken. Like many mediocre game designers nowadays their only tools are making things follow a script, or making things follow a RNG.
