Someone call the Forum Police! Because I wrote passive aggressively that DT looks not good. Oh how right I was!

As I said, wear whatever you want, but let me decide whether I want to see it or not. And the job-specific equipment is sufficient to hide unwanted glamour. It's not about skimpy clothing, it's about aesthetics and immersion.
I want to experience the story of the game and not see men to my left and right wearing B2 boots, thongs and some animal head (usually a frog or chicken) in bright colors.
I also don't want to see half-naked women who have never looked at themselves in a mirror before charging at humanity.
Well, that was a bit much.

It doesn't take long for the these types to come out of the woodwork when anything gender is related, they can't help it.

Gender wasn't even part of OP's post.
Who brought gender into the topic?

Yall should of just ignored them, and if it was that egregious as certain users in other threads.
Report them(For legitimate reasons, and unlike those in other threads week/s ago. We do so for the right reasons. not cause they wish to use it to put down other pov's.)

Only reason I'd consider supporting this, is cause it gives less reason for the devs to deny us the Unlocking of all Gears/Models.
    (Be they common, or Unobtainable/Old/Legacy.)

They can have it make other players look as of they are dressed in common, level/Class appropriate gear. (Unless they over capstone level like 50/60/70/80/90/100 +. Which it becomes Forced into AF gear Visuals instead. Specifically of the level bracket or expansion.)

and the rest of us can have our unlocked gears as per the other thread.

Win Win. and don't forget to ignore the clear bs and bait the few "Users" are doing.

I don't know if you know about the sociological effects of erasure or even care, but they can be extremely harmful to the people being erased, so preferences or even just existence is so disgusting to the majority that the majority literally wants to hide them away. It creates a sense of shame which can lead to depression and self-harm or even just a lifelong feeling of self-hatred. That feeling of unacceptance at the ideas you're speaking is very similar to the feeling of unacceptability that the LGBTQ community has experienced off and on throughout its history. The core difference is that you're being called out for wanting the right to cause harm.

And it's not just the LGBTQ community, but also the working poor, people of color, really any kind of underclass and the things associated with them. It's a city deciding that they need to put up trees to block the sightline to a trailer park or put up a tall fence to hide your place of work because your factory is considered "an eyesore". People with power have forced those people they don't want to see to disappear from view because for whatever reason, the existence of certain peoples has offended those with power. That power can come from a small group of people with a lot of power or a lot of people with a little power.

Pride, for a lot of people, is about not being erased. It's about being seen. It's about taking that mountain of shame being thrown and turning it around in defiance. To say everyone has a right to exist and to be themselves as long as they do no harm. There are plenty of men who like to wear and even rock some heels -- even big, burly men. That's not them saying "I want to be a woman", but rather just saying, "I want to wear what I want". For some, this game is a special place where we can express ourselves without fear of retribution.

And you are not required to look at any of them. You are fully allowed to isolate yourself in the Inn or your house (if you have one), and control who it is you see. But when you enter the public spaces, you do not get to pretend that other people don't exist.

Several posts seemed to reference Roes in 2B boots. It gave me the impression that some people really just didn't want to see gender non-conformance in the game.

Why? Is it because I have a different opinion? Because I feel disturbed by certain things? Do I have to accept everything so that certain people don't get sad or immediately feel discriminated against? Why do certain people demand consideration when these same people show zero consideration for everyone else around them? Why is it negative to write something about this topic and why do certain people always feel immediately attacked? As soon as someone has a different opinion, the first people start calling for a forum ban! So where is the tolerance to accept other opinions?

Cis is not an insult or a slur. It simply describes someone who is not transgender. It's the equivalent of calling someone straight when talking about sexuality.

This is an MMO. People get to dress how they like. Glamour prisms exist within this setting. And eccentric people also exist within this setting.

You have the choice of how to glam your own character. That does not extend to never having to see another character you don't like. Personally I don't like the way men look in dresses either. But I'm not thin skinned enough to demand an option to shelter my eyes from it just because it doesn't fit my tastes. I get to dress how I want, they get to dress how they want, that's how it works.

(For the record, not that it should matter, no I am not part of the lgbt community myself. Nor does the LGBT community have a monopoly on goofy looking glamours in this game to start with.)
